Well the summer seems to be getting away from us. This week Ambridge Area students headed back to school and with that another summer comes to an end. This summer the Ambridge Sports & Arts Camp ran for the 7th time. The camp continues to attract youth as we had an average of 25 - 30 youth at Arts Camp and 35 - 40 youth at Sports Camp.
This summer the Arts Camp team took on a difficult challenge of creating a movie with the youth. During the summer the team and the youth wrote, directed, starred in their own movie. The film was shown on the last day of camp. It was wonderful to see the youth watch themselves and smile and laugh at the film. Where else do youth get to experience that? And for Free?
We are excited about how God is moving in Ambridge and so glad that we get to be a part of it.

2nd Week of Sports & Arts Camp
Wow, what a week. The past week was definitely intense, we went from a high of 30 youth last week to 50 at sports camp this week and the number of leaders we had decreased by a significant amount. So, as I was saying it was an intense week. We continue to show God's love to the youth through sports and arts, here are some photos from the past 2 weeks.

Camp is less than a month away
Well things are really picking up now, one of our new team members has moved to the area and things are slowly falling into place for the camp. I gave 500 flyers to the local middle school and this weekend Shea and I will be handing out more flyers at nationality days here in Ambridge. As things continue to come together I am reminded of things that have not...for example we are still waiting on the field for this summer, which is probably the thing we need the most to run a sports camp. Every year this is the way things go though, we have to wait until the last minute to the ok from the athletic director, please be praying about that.
I am trying to complete the task that I can and leave the rest up to God...
I have been trying to figure out where we are headed for the fall and I would love to create something like this dinomights or similar to this metrolacrosse
We have a team of 6 right now for our leadership team and several high schoolers and beyond have expressed interest in helping us out too....
If you know of anyone who would be interested please let us know....
